With 14 developed fishing spots, 100 km of canalised waterways and numerous rivers, the territory of Pontivy Community offers sports and relaxation activities, along the water throughout the year.

Predators: Pike, perch and zander populate Lake Guerlédan and the rivers of the Blavet and the Oust.

Migrators: Brown trout and eels have been spotted in the waters of the Saar and the Blavet and according to the latest studies, Atlantic salmon have returned to the Pontivy region.

 

   

Fishing in Brittany

Whether you are a beginner or experienced fisherman, want to go fishing for the first time or spend an enjoyable family day at the water's edge; there are ‘labelled’ fishing areas. The most suitable for your needs is easily identified by the relevant coloured logo. Located on developed sites these fishing spots also have detailed information about the fish populations present.
