The Nantes to Brest Canal

The construction of the Nantes-Brest canal dates back to the first half of the 19th century. 364 km long, it will take you on a journey through scenic and relaxing landscapes. Guerlédan dam creates the largest lake in Brittany "Le lac de Guerlédan" and sits on the canal therefore splitting it into two sections.

The Nantes to Brest canal allows you to rediscover, simplicity and conviviality. Stop off for a drink, a meal or even to stay the night.
